Entry Requirements - Gunner Concept Art

Entry requirements:

The “Bard Concept Art“ competition (hereinafter referred to as the “competition”) is being held by

Gameforge 4D GmbH
Albert-Nestler-Straße 8
76131 Karlsruhe

(hereinafter referred to as “Gameforge“).

The competition starts on the 19.12.2012. The closing date is the 04.01.2013. Entries received after this date will not be counted.

Every registered “aionfreetoplay.com” member of full age is eligible for participation. Gameforge employees, members of the “AION” support team as well as their associates are eligible to participate, but are excluded from winning any prizes.

Participation is free and not bound to the purchasing of goods or services.

The aim of the competition is to send in artwork and/or weapon concepts for a new character class.

Every entry must be submitted to musician_artwork@aionfreetoplay.com via email from the email address with which the account is registered and must contain the nickname, main server and the account name of the participant.

Submissions may not violate any applicable laws and must be free from third party rights.

By submitting work, the participants agree that Gameforge can present the material on Gameforge internet pages (http://www.aionfreetoplay.com), on Gameforge Facebook pages (http://www.facebook.com/aion.de, http://www.facebook.com/aion.fr, http://www.facebook.com/aion.uk ) and on the AION Twitter channel ( http://twitter.com/Aion_FreeToPlay ) and grant Gameforge free and transferable exclusive rights of use without time and spatial limitation. The transfer of the rights of use and exploitation rights also encompasses the full or partial sub-licensing as well as the transfer to Gameforge associated companies as defined in section 15 of the Stock Corporation Act (AktG).

The participants agree that in the event of a presentation, their disclosed nickname can be published along with the submission and that this is considered sufficient as proof of authorship.

The winners will be determined by the 16.01.2013 and will be announced on the above named internet pages.

The winner will be decided at Gameforge’s sole discretion. An equivalent cash payment, equivalent material assets or swap and/or prize transfer is not possible. There is no right of appeal in regard to the determination of the winners.

The shipment of prizes requires a valid address. The participants therefore agree that in the case of a win, they can be notified via email to be asked for a valid address.

In addition, Gameforge reserves the right to send selected submissions to the NCsoft Corporation (hereinafter referred to as “NCsoft“) upon approval of the participants concerned. NCsoft will then check whether the submission can be integrated into the online game AION (hereinafter referred to as the “game“). For this Gameforge will first have the participant prove his full age through the separate forwarding of a valid copy of personal identification. The copy can be blacked out in the relevant places when being sent to parties that are not checking the age of the participant. After verifying the participant’s full age, all copies of personal identification will be destroyed. Furthermore, Gameforge will separately request the rights of use in the above areas for integrating the submission into the game.

Gameforge will process and use personal data under consideration of the federal data protection act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz) and the privacy policy purely for carrying out the competition as well as for sending out prizes.

By submitting an entry, the participant agrees to these entry requirements. Eligibility can be subsequently withdrawn if a participant is banned due to a rule violation during the competition period. Aside from these entry requirements, the general Terms and Conditions as well as the AION Community Guidelines apply.

Gameforge also reserves the right to close the competition at any time without prior notice, if, due to technical or legal reasons, its orderly execution cannot be guaranteed.

If individual provisions of these entry conditions become completely or partially invalid and/or contrary to legal regulations, the validity of these terms as a whole shall not be affected. The invalid provision will be substituted with a provision that comes closest to the original provision. The present regulation shall equally apply for gaps in the provisions of these conditions.
